“Dear Joel, Just a few words to say how thrilled we are with the renovations. As you will remember, our ensuite bathroom of 25 years ago was what a young couple would have loved in the 80’s. As a matter of fact, it was quite dramatic and spectacular. Mirrors on the ceiling, mirrors on all four walls, a Jacuzzi bath for four or six people.
As a couple in our sixties, we wanted an ensuite to be adequate for our needs now and in years to come. So we asked you to remove everything form ceiling to floor. Since we had no architects to plan any of this nothing could have been done without your expert advice and that of Thomas who had the patience and the diplomacy to tell us what would look right and what would not.
We must also add that everything in the contract was observed. Litter was removed from the premises. This is especially important in a condo, as the administration is not tolerant.
Other condo rules were observed: work to be done between 10 am & 5 pm. Between those times, there were noisy moments (removing of the marble floor etc) but no one complained as rules were strictly observed.
We are truly pleased with the results.
A word about the time this whole procedure took. If one is to have everything custom-made, it will be time-consuming. Materials come from Europe, the USA etc. In our case patience paid off. We feel it was well worth it. Thanks for everything.”

“Carik renovated a bathroom for me in 2011. There was a minor problem with the caulking but it was corrected the day following my notification. In 2018, seven years later, water stopped flowing and I notified Carik requesting a fix. Since it was seven years since installation I fully expected to pay. Within two days a plumber appeared and got things back to normal. I was told that there was no charge.

In 2014 I had a second bathroom totally renovated by Carik and it has performed perfectly since.
In 2014 I had water in my basement and Carik sent a plumbing team around who dug up part of the basement floor and laid tile and waterproofing where necessary. I have had a dry basement since.
I have found Carik's work to be of the highest quality and their after sales service to be excellent. In addition, all work was completed within the time span I was quoted. Thank you, Joel.”

“I realized just yesterday that I had not sent you note to say thank-you for all your hard work on our kitchen. I think we are still getting used to the change and settling in to using it. It took us some time to actually sit back and admire the work and how beautifully it turned out. From the start of demolition the crew was friendly, kept the house as clean as possible and worked extremely hard (they even told us some good stories. Oleg was very professional and did a great job on our electrical, he took extra steps in making sure we were happy and worked long hours to get the job done; Frank did an amazing job on our granite, he was very meticulous and went out of his way to fix a small crack and even fixed our travertine, he and his wife are so sweet and kind; Mario’s cabinetry work is practically perfect and turned out better than I would have imagined. He listened to our needs, made changes to the plan where necessary, made us feel confident in his work and was very professional; It was always nice to call the office and be greeted by Carmella who was always friendly and cheerful; Gino was always friendly and willing to help us out; Adam and Richard did a great job with the ceiling, tile work and other finishing touches, they have a keen eye to detail.
